Coronavirus and the New Normal

Wow….this definitely was not the introduction I was intending. Trying to find this new normal with coronavirus it trying and the unknown of it all has added a level of stress that many of us were not prepared for.
I started this blog back up after several years. I had plans since early this year to find my way back to the blogging world once again. It made me happy and I loved sharing life, DIY’s, travel, parenting and all journeys with you guys.

I started the revamp about 3 weeks ago, extremely excited to dabble back into the blog world. Little did I know the world around me could change so much in 3 weeks.

I had intended to reintroduce myself to my wonderful group of readers who somehow found entertainment in my posts all those years ago and introduce myself to any newbies.

But here we are, living an altered life all of the sudden. As for me and my introverted self, I’m making the best of it. Trying to do my part and steer clear of the public (obviously not too hard for me lol). Family time, hikes, baking, movie time couch cuddles are all good options and ones I’d choose regardless.
I know for others this is not as easy. Some are extroverts and rely on human energy, some have lost jobs, live paycheck to paycheck without the ability to work from home, some have at risk loved ones you’re worried about and the list goes on.
I can understand and empathize with these concerns as they were and still are mine.

I’m hoping we can all find a little love and light in this trying time. And I want this little blog home to be a place of reprieve forever and always.
I’m wishing you all health and happiness and until next time, stay safe ❤️

    Hey there 🙂

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking
what theme you’re using? (and don’t mind if I steal it? :
    P)

I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.

In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for
“royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate any feedback) –
    it’s still in the works.

Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus
    scare!

Hmm it appears like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum
it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing.
Do you have any tips and hints for first-time blog writers?
    I’d really appreciate it.

Hello Lovelies!

Woman standing in outdoor parking garage with smoke around her face

Hi! I’m just a woman who is still trying to figure out this thing called life, but you can call me Nikki. A mom, travel enthusiast, Starbucks addict who is never lacking for clumsy stories. But pineapples make me happy and palm trees swaying in the salty, ocean air ease my restless soul. Read more about me here.
